Big Unit = Perfection

Last night, Randy Johnson became only the 17th pitcher in history to pitch a completely perfect game. That means, no walks, no hits, nobody reaches first base, and Johnson faced the minimum amount of batters. Not only was Johnson the oldest pitcher ever to throw a perfect game, he managed to throw 13 strikeouts, 87 strikes against the Braves.

Of course, this great feat diminishes the fact that Johnson’s team, the Arizona Diamondbacks, have the second worst record in the National League.
